TANGERANG, KOMPAS — Babek Soccer School, a soccer school from North Jakarta, has become the new champion in the 2024-2025 Kompas U-14 Powered by BRI League. Unfortunately, the 12th season of the youth competition did not include any participants who won the fair play team trophy.
A brace or two goals from the main striker, Rayina Pamungkas, against Oneway Soccer School ensured Babek secured the championship title in the final week, Sunday (4/5/2025), at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang, Banten. Babek won absolutely over Oneway with a final score of 3-0.
Despite suffering their first defeat in the 14th match last week, Babek was able to play freely and did not experience nervousness in the match that was crucial for them. Moreover, prior to their game, Persigawa, sitting in second place, had a 4-1 lead over Serpong City.
With that position, Persigawa matched the points tally of Babak with 39 points. However, the players of Babek were ready to fight fiercely. They took the lead just four minutes into the match with a shot from midfielder Muhammad Oezil Oasis.
Two minutes later, Rayina had widened the gap of her team's lead. Babek made the most of the two second ball duel wins that preceded the first two goals. Babek secured three points and the championship title through Rayina's shot in the 53rd minute.

I am pleased to be able to contribute to this victory. I am happy to be a champion, and this achievement will serve as a foundation for my continued development in the future.
Babek became the champion of the Liga Kompas U-14 this season with a final score of 42 points. They are three points ahead of Persigawa. Both teams have been the strongest candidates to compete for the top position in the standings since the beginning of the season.
Coach Babek Abdul Gofur stated that the defeat against Persigawa last week served as a turning point for his players to avoid excessive euphoria. In order to improve the players' mentality, Gofur revealed that he initiated an evaluation meeting attended by the coaching staff and all players, assisted by a psychologist. The session lasted approximately 30 minutes.
In addition, the coaching staff also provided education to the players' parents to help prepare the children for the decisive match against Oneway. Apart from that special session, Gofur did not change the system and training methods for his protégés in the past week.
"We gave the players an understanding that football does not stop with yesterday's defeat, we must rise and train again. Alhamdulillah, we were given smoothness and victory," said Gofur.
He added, "We also saw the first match (Persigawa against Serpong City) also played with all out, there was no indication of anything. This is a progress that we have experienced in the Kompas League".

Dimas Anggara, the wing midfielder of Babek, is grateful to have concluded the intense competition in the Liga Kompas this season with a trophy. He is also pleased to have contributed an assist to his team's final goal in the second half.
"I am pleased to be able to contribute to this victory. I am happy to be a champion, and this achievement will serve as a foundation for my continued development in the future," said Dimas, who was named Player of the Month for the Kompas U-14 League 2024-2025 for the period of April.
In addition to bringing home the championship trophy and the first-place medal, Babek truly deserves to be the best team of the Liga Kompas U-14 this season. They are recorded as the most productive team as well as the strongest in defense.
Babek scored 35 goals and conceded only six goals over 15 weeks. Their striker, Rayina, also claimed the golden boot title as the top scorer. The player wearing the number eight jersey scored 15 goals.
Not only that, two players from Babek, namely Rayina and Angga, have also been named Players of the Month for the Liga Kompas U-14 2024-2025. These two players are also included in the list of 18 names of the LKG BRI Indonesia squad that will compete in the Gothia Cup 2025, scheduled for July.

Meanwhile, the 2024-2025 Kompas U-14 League did not confirm the fair play team to the 16 participants. The fair play trophy is one of two trophies that are always given to the team with the most impressive performance in a competition season. The other trophy is given to the champion.
The team with the most fair attitude is marked by the minimum number of violations, receiving the fewest yellow cards, and obeying the rules in force in the Kompas U-14 League. Unfortunately, the prestigious trophy was not awarded this season.
The reason is an incident between players during one of the matches in the last week that brought together Bina Taruda and Salfas Soccer, Saturday (3/5/2025), at the Kera Sakti Stadium, South Tangerang, Banten. The match was won by Bina Taruna with a score of 4-0.
"This season, until Friday we already had a candidate team to win the fair play trophy. However, the team that should have received this trophy committed an indecent act in the last match," said Kompas U-14 League Director Emilius Caesar Alexey.
"We decided not to award this trophy to any team as a lesson for the players to be able to control themselves during the match," he continued.

Kompas U-14 League Committee Chairman Adi Prinantyo added, "It is very unfortunate that there is no fair play team. In fact, fair play is the priority of the Kompas U-14 League. Participants are not just competing for prestige to be the best team, they are also competing to uphold sportsmanship. Hopefully this will be a note for all contestants in the next season."
