TEHRAN, SATURDAY—Israel has launched an attack on Iran. Explosions were heard in Tehran, Iran. Meanwhile, in Israel, citizens were urged to take shelter immediately.

Israeli media, Jerusalem Post, reported that an attack was launched on Saturday (28/2/2026), with the Israeli military (IDF) carrying out strikes against Iran. Alongside the attack, Israel issued a warning to the entire public. "This is a warning to prepare the public for the possibility of missiles being launched at Israel," stated the IDF.

In Tehran, an explosion was heard, followed by a column of dust and smoke. The location of the explosion was reportedly near Tehran University.
